Clarion Collection Carmel Oaks Inn

the location was great, both when it came to shopping (food and other things) or restaurants. you have to walk a bit to the beach, but it's not a problem, it's just uphill backwards. The Carmel Plaza with stores and restaurants is a good 5-minute walk away. The hotel is simple and clean, we just had queen size beds, there wasn't too much space in the bed. The breakfast basket is ok if you only need a little in the morning. The free parking in the courtyard is very practical. All in all a great hotel.

The breakfast basket that was delivered to our door was perfect, we had cereal with fresh fruit, and took a couple of breakfast bars to the beach and sat and enjoyed our morning coffee. The breakfast basket had, Cereal, milk, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola bars....each for my husband and I to enjoy.

Very clean with comfortable beds. TV kept losing signal, but righted itself. We arrived late and had to use phone listed on front door of office to check in. They left a cooler with a continental breakfast outside our door, which we did not expect!

Great location near old town. Easy to walk to village as parking difficult during day. Staff very friendly and happy to help you. Complimentary basic breakfast delivered to your doorstep.
